texture tiling experiment 2.egg

Trying to figure out seamless tiling. I had an image of some old wallpaper that I was trying to fix the seams on by overlapping them some with the seamless hub. It still confuses me, but I think it's because the tiling hub is tiling it with matching points in the center, instead of just repeats across and down. I think.

Edit: Oh wait. You just turn off the mirror horizontal and mirror vertical tick boxes in the tile hub properties. Durr!

The tile hub threw me for a loop at first, but if you deselect the Horizontal and vertical mirror options it will tile you pattern regularly. (look at your derivatives) Alternatively, the auto painter hub can work as a tiler but it is processor intensive and you would have to mess with all of the settings to get it to look right.

BTW I love this patten.
