Thanks, Red. I've been having trouble finishing it. It won't open for editing. Avi's passed it on to Mario who thinks he's figured it all out. Those little alpha sections are irritating.

Oddly enough, Avi was able to open it and save it with another name and I _can_ work on that one. I guess that's the sort of thing to expect when you push the limits of a beta project.

Hey Steve,

I'm trying to figure out what is the problem with this image, but I can't. When I set the canvas' background alpha to 255 the transparent areas go away and I can also save it without problems. Not sure if I missed something obvious there.

Hi Mario,

I can't even open it. The process gets stuck at "setting up." This happens on my Vista laptop, my Mac desktop, and the XP machine at work (although that could be for other reasons...it's underpowered and I think they throttle throughput on non-work related sites.)

I see. So the file seems to behave differently depending on if the original owner or someone else opens it. Strange - that does not really ring a bell here. Since it is the same outcome on different platforms it's also not related to some local shared object problem. And you don't use any external resource so it can also not be a version check gone bad. I'm a bit clueless for now I must say.
