I have a question - What does the color matrix expert hub do? I tried turning it off and on a few times but can't see the difference, and I don't understand the properties.

This is really awesome. I never would have thought to use Perlin Noise and Displacement to make such wonderful, feathery shapes.

I think I used the Color matrix pro hub to boost the alpha of something. It was probably early in the life cycle of the image and ended up not actually doing anything in the end. I'm horrible about cleaning up files., and things get left in that shouldn't.

Great question. This is an older version of the shape draw hub, The new one has the same properties and then some. It should work the same with either version.

great image... but i was trying to make one myself - i basically copied the exact numbers from mpeutz's hubs, and my result was a white rectangle. =(

The key to this effect is it use a very transparent brush some where around .5, and then use add blend mode in the shape draw hub. If you notice the glow hub is set to knockout so only the glow itself is used as a brush. Maybe I'll make a tutorial for this effect.
