Looks like in the beta version of Flash Player 10.1 there is a bug concerning the webcam which causes these vertical artifacts.

No sources were used in this creation.

I get the same result with FP10.1. However, when I do multiple snapshots the result is fine. Those lines don't appear.

Thanks for testing this Mike. I think the reason that it works with multiple snapshots is that those are scaled down while being drawn to the bitmap.
