Lucky The Lion.egg

Lucky The Lion.egg

I thought I would try and blend in a background on this one Now I will add just a few details and then add the funny little twist.

This one I made to be played with later. The head, the body, the arms and tail, are all in different layers. This way I can change what he is doing.

Second phase. Had sometime today to get the body close to being finished. I still have more to do on it, highlighting shading and a funny little twist.
This one is challenging The lighting and shading is going to be some guessing to figure out I want the mane to have highs and lows I will have to try a few different things to see what works/looks the best but that is how I learn, trying to do different thing to see what happens.

Thanks Manilis. I am still trying to learn just how to shad and high light in here. Plus I thought I would try and blend in a background because I am having a hard time shading him.. Now to add the funny little twist.

Thank you Walrus.

I just got home made a little raven to put with him. and then I noticed that I was not in that file.. do you know of a way to move what I just did in to it? I know off the wall question.

OK so it should be easy enough, opent he lion file and go to file>import file and choose Aviary Library and leave 'your library' checked. Then when all of your images come up you can click on the little raven and import him into the lion image.

BTW love your art!

Thank you for responding. I did see that, but it only imports the image not the file. I think I will just have to redo it in the file.

Thank you for the complement. Right now it is just toons, but one day it will be art.

When you look inside you will see what I was saying about larger shapes with cut in lines.

Very cool. This guy was also in that cartoon art book for little kids, like I was saying before.
