If anyone had any ideas on how to give the ring a reflective surface, I'd be all ears :)

I haven't figured out the reflection thing yet, but you rocked this one! It looks like it just came out of the fire and is ready to be tempered in a bucket of water.

mpeutz...is pretty good with reflection techniques, you might look at some of his stuff to get you closer.

try the "dodge" tool in phoenix
settings: brush 15, dodge, highlights, 65-80 hardness

I found that size 35 works well

(the higher the exposure the more highlight is added in one pass!)

Man, that means I have to leave my Peacock bubble and venture out to the rest of the aviary... so be it. :)

This is an awesome file cstar, I like all the little touches that makes this file pop. I also like the "stupid fat hobitses" image tag. It made me laugh.
