Walking in the city on a rainy day. I just noticed, this one comes after the Sunny day creation :p

New Umbrella by Ipsquiggle. Check out his great explanation on how he made it, under my derivatives. Old umbrella was kept in the file anyway, for information only.

That's really fantastic. I really appreciate using Peacock to make non-abstract images. I think the sidewalk is especially clever.

I was playing around with it and came up with a way to add some lighting to the umbrella to match up with the shadow it's casting. (I had to delete almost everything else since it was bringing my computer to it's knees, but check it out here .

I also have a few suggestions for improvements:

1) Another layer of rain that is much larger, to simulate drops that are closer to the viewer's eye, perhaps.

2) Brighten it just a little. On this monitor at least, it looks a step past 'moody' and is just dark.

But those are just my opinion, take it or leave it. :)

Again, fantastic image!
