Daaaang! I got loads of chipmunks living near me. Imagine them waiting at my door... I got nuts in my kitchens and I think they'll hit them against the window just to get in. Not that smart... ^_^ BTW I like it!

(see sources for reference)

I started with the chipmunk, then set a pic of a lion's head on the face of the chipmunk, thenerased the parts of the lions head that I didn't want.

The parts that I kept I blended and smudged into the chipmunks face until it blended with the chipmunk pretty well. Then I took the color of the mane using the dropper tool and added a few hairs with the brush (set on 1) and blended and smudged the mane, and used the semi-solid eraser on it so it would not stick out too much.
I did the same thing with the antlers, erased everything else and blended them to the chipmunk's head.

If you want, you could check out the chimera contest on "worth1000.com", it has some good tutorials attached.

I've seen those in the wild; especially near the inner-cities.

You should put a nut with legs in its hands and a caption saying "The Chipaloipe before it feasts on the elusive legged nut" :D
