I set out to just create a cube from simple shapes and masks and ended up here.

Oh..hey...thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it as I like the way it turned out. I never know what's going to happen when I start messing with simple shapes and shape draw, but it's always fun to see. BTW, I like the user name and the geometric nature of your creations.

Thanks bassp, I'm glad you took the time to look and enjoyed it. This one was fun and even I was surprised at how it ended up as opposed to what I intended. It was a fun experiment that turned into a cool happy accident. That's what I love about Peacock. You make one little change and boom...it can make your jaw drop with the results.

cubes within cubes what's not to love about this? Great color, too. The possibilities are endless and I love surprises. They're like cool little ice cubes, I had a drink once with little blinking lights inside each ice cube...now I want a martini ;)

You're so funny Redstar! Thanks for making me smile! I'm glad you enjoyed the "ice cubes". Take care.

Brilliant! I love what happen to the inner cubes as they spiral away. Of course, it also makes me think of a Borg invasion.. Nah, I think I'll stick with Red's ice cubes instead.

I'm glad you like it. You flatter me though. The more I work with Peacock, the more surprised I am at the results. You should get in there more and give it a go! I started just where you did...checking out the Kaleidoscope, inversion and shape draw hubs (etc). But eventually, you'll get this idea and go to create it in Peacock and suddenly...Peacock just makes its shine and takes it to a place you might not have expected. I find glow, drop shadows, shape draw and autopainter (of which I'm still a little baffled) to make some of the coolest art when used by the people creating here at Aviary.
